This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

A controversial subject: the use of AI in creative writing. Whereas I'm all for replacing cashiers, who don't take into the account the effects of an inclined plane when making that bottle of plonk roll down to hit your freash strawberrys, by robots, what about critique partners. I've used AI to critique my chapters and have got some really good help for certain aspects of my narrative. Has anyone here used AI and if so, how?
