• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Hello Litopians.

I've just joined up and wanted to say hi.

I'm a free-verse poet and author from a small town in Victoria (Australia). I've been writing for 40 years plus and have commenced the publishing of my work through POD technology and my own publishing house - Wild Arancini Press.

Books to date in this incarnation of myself are:
Small Town Kid (2018) - a free verse memoir of growing up in rural Victoria in the 1960s and 70s.
Devil In The Wind (2019) - in free-verse, the voices of victims and survivors of the Black Saturday bushfires of 2009.
Herja, Davastation - a collaboration with fellow author Cage Dunn to combine free verse and prose in telling a tale of a Valkyrie and her mortal assassin/accomplice (Due for release September 2019)
The New Asylum - a memoir of psychiatry due November 2019.

<phew> it's been busy.

Thanks for having me here at Litopia.
