• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Welcome aboard @Neil B :) what do you write? you should come to a huddle when you've met all the requirements! https://colony.litopia.com/threads/saturday-huddles-what-they-are-why-you-should-join-in.8365/
Thanks, good to be here. Alongside a lot of journalism my novel is a legal / financial thriller, that`s my favourite genre. Also won an award for a play I wrote some years ago but spent it quickly in the pub one night! How about you?

The huddle sounds interesting.

YA fantasy but I read widely, I like the sound of a legal thriller, tried my own hand at one because I used to be a lawyer. Decided I don't enjoy writing them but I do enjoy reading them :)

Huddles are informative but addictive :)

Interesting, I also come from a background in law / private practice. I used to think I`d finally escaped but now surrounded by lawyers in our business!
