• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi, I have an idea for a manuscript.

It's based around a 'saturday afternoon trip to the shops'. The timeframe is about 1 hour. I am looking to see if there are any other novels that take place during a short time period, probably one hour. The only thing I can think about is something like a dream sequence (Alice In Wonderland)? But what I have intended is a straight chronological series of events over one hour?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Kevin.

A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich [Solzhenitsyn]. Will be banned once Corbyn gets in, so grab it now.

I read A Day In The Life Of Ivan Denisovich, tried to read Ulysses at least 3 times, never getting to the end.

Is Run Lola Run only 20 minutes long as a film?

I shall check out the other suggestions.

Thanks.
