• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Dandelion Break Musicians Bare Their Souls on Only Fans

You know I've been thinking about the general problem of all the arts. I narrowed it down to:
1. Everybody wants to be an artist
2. Anybody can easily create art today and distribute it on some platform
3. Most creators do it at their own cost with little to no monetization
4. It's a simple case of supply and demand

So maybe we should just accept that we create for ourselves and our close ones, and anything beyond that circle is a bonus. And maybe it's wishful thinking that anyone will pay us for it?

And I don't believe that re-editing, re-structuring, re-marketing will change much as the market is over-saturated and congested with creators and creations. I think it's wonderful that art is democratised and that anyone can create today, but the outcome is that that everyone is doing it, and everyone is an artist today.
