• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Call me old fashioned, but I can't believe I've done this. Voice Type exists. I have finally joined the 21st century with Microsoft Windows 10. I'm also using Google documents to write on. My first novel mentions this technology and I thought it was impossible, but now I now I find that it's been in use for some time. This whole paragraph has been voice typed by my computer, so now I know that if my arthritis gets worse I don't need to worry!

Look no hands!!!!

WOW!

It spells better than my husband :) I have no idea how it copes with regional accents though. And I had to fill in the punctuation (I don't know if there is a way of making it do it by itself). But I only found this feature this evening and got a bit carried away with excitement. I'm the woman who has only just inherited her first smart phone (from her son), so a little bit behind the times.
