    Yeah there were a fair number of Indie Authors saying they didn't use beta readers. A lot of the reasons were: 1) waste of time. 2) they'll ruin my voice. 3) grammar is oppression.

    Great post @Jake E I couldn't agree more about the importance of beta readers. There's only so far you can go on your own, and having others read your work is the best way to get it into sharp focus. But I'm wondering, why was the discussion...

    Another thing beta readers find that you or me, the writer, unbelievably didn't see is the obvious loophole. I lose count of how many times I have sighed with an "Of course! Why didn't I see that?"
