• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Afternoon all. Hope all is well in Litopia. After a lot of letting things get in the way of writing, I've finally made the concrete decision to get back to my WIP and see if it can be worked into a vaguely decent draft by the end of the year.

Hi @Michael C and welcome back. I hope your WIP is progressing well and that you're making yourself at home again in the Colony. Remember, we now have Pop-Ups if you'd like some advice on your first 700 words. That's on YouTube, Sunday evenings from 5pm (UK time). There's excellent advice every week on writing and publishing in general.

I'm one of the Guardians on Litopia. If you have any questions, please get in touch — happy to help any time. Look forward to seeing you around the Colony! :)
