Writing whilst suffering from over-indulgence is a most rewarding endeavour, I have been told. So why not give the Flash Club a wee whirl while you are in optimal-stuffed- condition? The oft-fabled virtual Litopia trophy is up for grabs for the worthy winner :)
 
I've heard that when writing for the Flash Club one uses 10 calories per word. Is that true? If so, I might use it as part my January detox.
Yes. Yes, that it completely true. And at this time of year, because its cold and damp, you actually use *13* calories per word, so even more impetus.

In which case, a prompt for 1000 word piece, please.
