• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Poetry Movie Night With My Kids And Their Mates

The World Between the Words
Five little boys watch Indiana Jones
The cool one hugs a pillow hiding fright
The wise one whispers words that it's all right
The littlest feels it inside his bones
The cockyest explains all the unknowns
The bright one shivers unbridled delight
Best friends together they chose this tonight
Five tiny heroes : kings on sofa thrones
They'll grow up fast and leave this place behind
They'll be wiser and less kingly for sure
They'll listen better and throw fewer stones
But they'll keep this feeling of minds entwined
For journeys light fires in souls this pure
As they sit and watch Indiana Jones

Yes, asps, indeed. There were jumps aplenty when the cobra went for Indy! :D
