• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Though not one of your readers, I was rooting for you to be rescued by the Reaper, and go before that beast of an illness could take too big a bite out of you. I wish you good dreaming.

What!? No. brb

I just read a bit more about this. Very sad :( I only ever played the games never read the books although my best friend loved them. Am waffling but so shocked about this.

Be at peace and full of tranquility, Mr Pratchett, you will be missed

This is so very sad, but I'm pleased to read he went in comfort surrounded by his family. I read a lot of Pratchett in my teens and Wyrd Sisters got me through some lonely and tough times. He's influenced me greatly and when I was younger helped me develop a love for writing. Bah, I was always so envious of students who got to hear him lecture, but I think he taught me a lot anyway.

From his Twitter account :(:

"AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER."

"Terry took Death’s arm and followed him through the doors and on to the black desert under the endless night."

"The End."
