• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Just popped in to say hello.
I’ve been away from my writing for some time. I’m back now with a new determination to get things moving on my WIP.
I was part of Litopia a few years ago and have returned to find it much changed. I’m hoping to pick up a few tips and meet a few like minds.

I seem to remember everything being darker (literally not figuratively).
There were ‘Houses’ where you could ask questions about specific genres. Do they exist in the new world? I’m still trying to find my feet.

Hello :) The Houses closed a while back, but writers can still get reader's feedback here. Keep looking around, you'll soon get your bearings :)
