• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

So nice to be here! I'm Lisa and I'm working hard on my first mystery with magical realism, witches and elemental spirits all involved. I have two traditionally published non-fiction books in my field of pharmacy, but am so excited and happy to finally be devoting time to writing fiction. I'd love to find beta readers and critique partners in the magical realism genre and I'm looking forward to offering critique help for others as well! PS I love pizza and wine (and not necessarily in that order!) :)

Hi Lisa. It's a 'big hello' from here in the soft and silly English Midlands. I hope life is good for you.

A very warm welcome to the colony, @Lisa C

Nice to have you here. Hope you enjoy Litopia and do get involved as soon as you’re ready to.

This is a good place to check out (How-to guide) to see a lot of what goes on in the colony.

If anything is unclear do please contact me and I’ll be happy to assist if I can.
