• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

    • Don't give offence

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Hi,
I am Bida boop. Quite an odd name isn't it?. I used to write as a child, but lost touch over the years. Life got in the way. Writing to me feels like a long lost childhood friend at this point. And as we do when we have a memorable childhood friend, we seek them. This is my quest and i hope i will find my friend. Please feel free to provide me with "directions" on how to find my friend.
Thank you :)

Welcome! If your friend conforms to type, they were last seen going into a sleazy critique circle with a thesaurus on each arm. If you see them again, you're unlikely to recognise them. But that might be a good thing.
