• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Feel the sting of the gauntlet on your cheek?
Time to trip the red alert Ah OOGA sirens. We need to outdo Minnesota on story or Pete will be forever embarrassed.

Look into the attic of your memory. There among the cobwebs must be an urban legend told around a campfire. Or that day you decided against buying a house because of the vibes you got when you walked in. It doesnt have to be YOUR experience. It can be a story told to you. Just this once tho we are looking for the inspiration that becomes the fiction.

Look at this incredible signup page created by Pete. He's knocked the Minnesota story slam out of the ballpark. He deserves to get haunted by our stories for his sins.
