• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

I saw first snowfall last night, well around 4am this morning. Unfortunately it melted before it settled.

I love snow, its very emotive, good for skiing also, and great for sitting in by a fire. My daughter is in Las vegas for a holiday and is going to Colarado for thanks giving, I think She will need to wrap up warm as I believe its a good place for snow. In sunny southern spain at the moment, not a cloud in site, but will go back to switzerland tomorrow and I think might see some snow across the lake to mnt blanc.

They usually have snow in the Colorado Rockies well before Thanksgiving, so depending on where in Colorado she's visiting, she'll likely experience cool weather if not the white stuff on the ground. I hope she's having a nice trip. :)

It was a cold morning that day, here, but we only just lost the last of our leaves. Usually Maryland doesn't get snow until between Christmas and New Years, and we get a dusting on the ground a few times in January and February.
