• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

My 4 year old wrote a story... by write, I mean she dictated it to me to type. I thought I'd share it, as it brightened my otherwise awful day.

A scary story.

Once upon a time, there was a zombie that wanted to go away. He wanted to scare everyone.

“boo, boo, boo,”

Suddenly, one of his friends came. He was a ghost.

“oooo. I’m a ghostie behind your back,”

Then, another friend came. It was a witch.

“he he he, I’m a witch,”

Then suddenly, the witch made carrot cake, because she was a good witch.

The end.
